Following the success of Flores de Alquiler , the band returned with El Mundo Se Equivoca (The World Is Wrong). This album saw them evolve lyrically and musically, tackling themes of betrayal, love, and social disillusionment. It was their most successful commercial release.

By 2009, tensions within the band were growing, but they still managed to release Sin Frenos (No Brakes)—a compilation album of their greatest hits, plus three new songs. It served as both a celebration and a farewell. la quinta estación discografía
