In 2019, under pressure from French anti-piracy authorities (Arcom, then Hadopi) and the MPA (Motion Picture Association), the site's operators were arrested, and the original domain was seized.

Since then, dozens of "clone" or "revival" sites have appeared. The domain (Philippines) is one of these unofficial mirrors/replicas. It is not the original operators—it is likely run by a third party copying the database and design to capture traffic.
