For Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS : Press F5 For macOS : Press Cmd + R Where it works: File Explorer (Windows), Finder (macOS), web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari), and your desktop. The "Hard Refresh" (Fix Stuck Pages) Sometimes a normal refresh loads the saved copy (cache) from your computer. If a website looks broken or old, you need a Hard Refresh to clear the temporary files for that page. It does not clear RAM or close background apps
