For three seasons, Tariq has tried to be a "legit" businessman. Season 4 proves that is impossible. The more he tries to wash his money, the more blood he gets on his hands. The final episodes promise a return to the original Power formula—a war between two major families, with Tariq caught in the middle. Here is my hot take: Tariq doesn't make it out alive.

Or, maybe he pulls off the ultimate escape and moves to California with Tasha. (Doubtful. This is Power .) Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 is a return to form. It’s faster, darker, and more violent than Season 3. If you dropped the show because it felt too much like a college drama with guns, come back. The final season remembers that this universe was built on betrayal and broken bones.

Power has always been a tragedy. Ghost died in his own club. Tommy lost everyone he loved. It would be poetic (and brutally ironic) if Tariq—who killed his own father to avoid that life—ends up dying exactly the same way: betrayed by someone he trusted, holding a bag of money he can't spend.
