Analysis of the workprint (sourced from early DVD screeners) reveals three major structural differences from the final cut: party down s01e08 workprint
The workprint retains un-ADR’d (Automated Dialogue Replacement) location audio. Overhead air conditioner hum, clattering plates, and off-camera director’s whispers (“faster, Ken”) are audible. Furthermore, several lines are improvised in the workprint but replaced in the broadcast. Notably, Roman’s tirade about “fascist catering” includes a line where Marino breaks character and laughs, then mutters, “I can’t say that.” This fourth-wall fracture is removed in the final episode.
