So, to all the weird and wonderful families out there, I salute you. May your door knob collections be vast, your historical reenactments be spirited, and your Egyptian pharaoh impersonations be fierce.
In fact, I've started to appreciate the little things about my family that make us weird. Like how my dad insists on making his famous (and infamous) seven-layer Jell-O salad for every holiday.
