Hatim Episode 24 -

Long ago, the kingdom’s beautiful princess, , was cursed by a vengeful water demon (a Jal Rakshas ) after she rejected his marriage proposal. The demon poisoned the lake, turning its waters black, and decreed that every full moon, one maiden from the kingdom must be sacrificed to him. Anyone who tries to break the curse without knowing the true meaning of selfless love will be dragged into the dark waters forever.

Dilaram objects, fearing for Hatim’s life. But Hatim explains that the fifth question of the Jinn is linked to this curse: “What is more powerful than a king’s command, sharper than a warrior’s sword, and deeper than the ocean?” He believes the answer lies in the lake. Hatim rows out to the center of the black lake alone. The water demon rises — a monstrous, scaled creature with glowing red eyes and a voice like grinding rocks. Hatim, driven by his code of helping those in need, decides to enter Jal Nagar. The kingdom is now a ghost town — silent, cold, and covered in a thin layer of frost. The villagers hide in their homes, terrified. The current king, a broken old man, reveals that tonight is the full moon. His only daughter, Princess Kajal , is to be the next sacrifice.
