To the uninitiated, this sounds like technical jargon. To fighting game fans, it represents a fascinating (and slightly complicated) history of Arc System Works’ legendary franchise on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
Guilty Gear -Strive- (2021) uses Unreal Engine 4 with high-fidelity 3D models and particle effects that would melt the Switch’s Tegra X1 chip. Unless Nintendo releases a "Switch 2" with modern specs, Strive will remain on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. If you are looking for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R or the original Arcade title, you do not need to hunt down sketchy NSP files. Both are readily available on the official Nintendo eShop.
