Digging a new trench for a water line, the contractor unearths a stone circle. At its center: a small, dry well, its rim carved with old Norse and Lenape symbols. The moment Sam touches the stone, a jolt—not electric, but spiritual —passes through her. Behind her, all eight ghosts gasp.

Margo, terrified but impressed, whispers, "How are you doing this?"
