The Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime provides updates to the core DirectX runtime for Windows operating systems. This package includes the latest DirectX runtime files for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows.
This is the last standalone DirectX redistributable released by Microsoft. After June 2010, updates to DirectX are delivered exclusively via Windows Update (for the core runtime) or the DirectX Software Development Kit (SDK). No newer full redistributable packages have been released.
