Arjun’s heart stopped. Four years. Four years of ascending, of wrinkler strategies, of rebuilding the entire cookie-verse from a single click. Gone.

That night, he closed the laptop. He went outside. The real moon was out, pale and cratered—not a golden cookie in sight. And for the first time in four years, Arjun realized he had just done the most important thing he could do with his save file.
