Back in the day, the WBFS (Wii Backup File System) was a lifesaver for homebrew users. It was a proprietary filesystem designed to store Wii game images on a USB drive without wasting space. It stripped out padding and junk data, letting you cram more games onto a smaller hard drive for use with USB Loaders like Configurable USB Loader or USB Loader GX.
